Mission
To provide leadership and education in regard to all dimensions of diversity, equity, and inclusion within CA state service in order to achieve equitable work cultures.
The organization accomplishes its mission by:
- Promoting collaboration between the various professions and organizations in State service.
- Provide a platform for the exchanging of information on DEI sources, strategies, and methods that have attained effective results.
- Delivering continuous information on best practices, tools, and resources to help improve diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Continuing CA's legacy of leadership in civil rights with a workforce that reflects the richness of the State's diversity to better serve the people of CA.
Purpose
A network of civil service professionals working together to achieve a diverse workforce, promote an inclusive work environment, and foster equitable outcomes for all State applicants and employees.
