Training Design that Aligns and Supports Organizational Needs

Overview

Trainers are tasked with designing and delivering training in a variety of environments and focusing on a broad range of subjects. Often training solutions are designed without a strong connection to identified organizational needs or goals. Proactive training designers recognize the danger of this disconnect and use many tools to ensure a strong connection to agency goals and that the training product is based on hard data and best design practice.

In this hands-on workshop, trainers will review a class they have designed. Katrina Kennedy will work with each participant to modify their design to ensure engagement, interaction, and learning transfer to the workplace.
