CalHR has proposed action on the regulations described in the following documents. This rulemaking action clarifies and makes specific the regulation of merit system operations of county governments for employees who are assigned to certain programs that are supported in part by federal funds, such as Cal-Works, Temporary Aid to Needy Families, Child Support Services, and Medi-Cal. The Office of Administrative Law entered the proposal in the California Notice Register as of October 23, 2015.

CalHR has not scheduled a public hearing on this proposed action. However, CalHR will hold a hearing if it receives a written request for a public hearing from any interested person, or his or her authorized representative, no later than 15 days before the close of the written comment period.
